GIST foreign PhD/integrated students from Asia, excluding China and India, who entered in Fall 2025 or Spring 2026. GIST presidential scholars excluded; academic record and advisor recommendation required.

Submit to GIST’s scholarship office with advisor recommendation. The 2026 deadline was September 14, 17:00 KST.

Award duration and continued support

The award covers the stated 12-month period. A subsequent award requires a new selection.
