  • For the CNU-ASIA recommendation route: recommendation from an eligible office in Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, Russia, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Japan, or Liaocheng (China). Applicant and both parents must be non-Korean and must have acquired foreign nationality before the applicant began high school. Admission to a listed program required. The list describes recommending offices, not a nationality-only shortcut. Scholarship awards cannot be combined. Final CNU-ASIA admission required.

KRW 2,000,000 total is split into two semester payments. This is a fixed two-installment grant, not recurring annual support. The guide does not promise payments beyond these installments.
