Partial tuition waiver

One tuition component is waived; the remaining tuition is payable. Official category: Tuition I waiver.

  • For the CNU-ASIA recommendation route: recommendation from an eligible office in Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, Russia, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Japan, or Liaocheng (China). Applicant and both parents must be non-Korean and must have acquired foreign nationality before the applicant began high school. Admission to a listed program required. The list describes recommending offices, not a nationality-only shortcut. Scholarship awards cannot be combined. High admission evaluation; number of recipients determined by the president.

Later semesters and re-application

The entrance award covers the first semester only. From semester two, a separate current-student scholarship can cover part of tuition with previous-semester GPA at least 2.75 and at least 15 credits. Foreign nationality must be maintained at semester start. This is separate from renewal of the entrance amount; the guide does not fix a percentage or degree-long duration.
