  • Complete level 4 or higher at Soongsil Korean Language Center and meet completion criteria; no stacking of entrance scholarships.
  • Both parents must have non-Korean nationality

Later semesters and re-application

The entrance award covers the first semester only. From semester 2 a separate merit waiver is automatically assessed: 100% with GPA 4.3+, TOPIK 6 and 15 credits (12 in the penultimate term); 50% with GPA 3.8+, 40% with GPA 3.5–below 3.8, or 20% with GPA 3.0–below 3.5, each requiring TOPIK 4+ and 12 credits.
