First-Semester Scholarships in Korea: What Is Covered?
These rules state that the listed benefit covers the first semester only. An entrance discount is not a promise of the same discount throughout a degree. Where the database records a separate later-semester award, its conditions remain under the individual programme; a new application may be possible without extending this first-semester benefit.
40 programmes from the published database. Application status as of 2026-10-11 (KST); source review dates are recorded individually. Past calls remain labeled by their year and deadline. A policy without dates is not treated as an open call.
Freshmen and year-3 transfers only; certificate required for the language tier. Year-4 transfers have a separate 30% tier. Partner institutions, BUFS language-course completion or specified F visas may also qualify for 30%.
