  • Applicant and both parents must be foreign nationals by birth; Korean dual nationality and acquired foreign nationality are excluded. Family circumstances require official nationality documentation. Short-term programs excluded. Graduate scholarships cannot be combined; foreign-government funding may limit university awards. Arts or physical-education program only; Sejong Language Institute at least 2 completed semesters required. Official TOPIK2 certificate by application deadline.

Qualification is based on admission documents; later new qualifications do not create or upgrade this award.

Samsung Global Hope Scholarship

Samsung Dream Scholarship Foundation

KRW 4,800,000 per semester from the foundation. University arrangements may supplement this amount.

Students from DAC ODA-recipient countries at partner universities, with financial need, strong academic performance and TOPIK level 2 or higher. University recommendation is required. GKS recipients are excluded.

Apply through the partner university’s recommendation call. Student deadlines and available nomination places differ by university.

Does TOPIK 2 guarantee a scholarship?

No. Meeting a recorded language threshold does not guarantee admission, other eligibility or selection.

Which benefit applies when several tiers are shown?

Compare the eligible tiers for the same programme and call. A higher benefit may have additional GPA, department, admission-rating or other conditions. Do not combine alternative tiers.
