Scholarships for Korean Language Institute Graduates
These reviewed degree-scholarship rules explicitly mention a Korean language institute, centre or programme, including institution-specific KLEC or KLCP pathways. They do not fund a standalone language course. Completion at one institution may not transfer to another, and TOPIK or admission requirements can still apply separately.

A separate merit scholarship may apply based on the previous semester GPA: 4.3+ → 100% tuition; 4.0+ → 50%; 3.7+ → 30%; 3.2+ → 20%. Foreign nationality must be maintained. Benefits are assessed each semester; the entrance award does not automatically continue.
Complete the immediately preceding semester at CBNU’s Korean language institute, enter a degree programme and remain enrolled. GKS recipients are excluded.

Complete level 4 or higher at Soongsil Korean Language Center and meet completion criteria; no stacking of entrance scholarships.
Both parents must have non-Korean nationality

The entrance award covers the first semester only. From semester 2 a separate merit waiver is automatically assessed: 100% with GPA 4.3+, TOPIK 6 and 15 credits (12 in the penultimate term); 50% with GPA 3.8+, 40% with GPA 3.5–below 3.8, or 20% with GPA 3.0–below 3.5, each requiring TOPIK 4+ and 12 credits.
