Sibling and Family Scholarships in Korea for International Students
Family-enrollment scholarships do not follow one common rule. The reviewed programmes differ on who counts as family, whether relatives must be enrolled in the same semester, which family member receives the award and whether GPA or credit conditions apply. This collection includes only explicit family-enrollment scholarship rules and does not treat a general family relationship document as scholarship eligibility.
3 programmes from the published database. Application status as of 2026-11-02 (KST); source review dates are recorded individually. Past calls remain labeled by their year and deadline. A policy without dates is not treated as an open call.

KRW1m total for siblings together, paid at most twice during enrollment. Each eligibility assessment requires at least12 credits and GPA2.0/4.5.
Does every enrolled sibling receive the scholarship?
No. The reviewed programmes use different payment rules: one is a one-time full-tuition award, one records a total amount for the siblings together, and one pays a tuition percentage to only one qualifying family member.
Must family members study in the same semester?
For the listed HUFS and Gimhae rules, concurrent enrollment is explicit. Ajou also accepts an immediate family member enrolled within the standard undergraduate period or at least two family members entering in the same academic year.
Is proof of family relationship enough?
No. Enrollment status, degree, campus, GPA, credits, application and award limits can still apply. Use the current official university instructions.
