Scholarships for Overseas Korean and Diaspora Students in Korea
These programmes explicitly target a Korean diaspora group, overseas-Korean status or documented Koryo-saram ancestry. The eligibility categories are not interchangeable: residence, visa, ancestry proof, university location, enrollment and remaining semesters can differ. Korean-studies research fellowships are excluded because studying Korea-related subjects is not itself diaspora eligibility.
4 programmes from the published database. Application status as of 2026-10-16 (KST); source review dates are recorded individually. Past calls remain labeled by their year and deadline. A policy without dates is not treated as an open call.
