Scholarships in Korea That Restrict Other Scholarships or Funding
These programmes explicitly prohibit or limit concurrent funding. The restriction can apply to all scholarships, tuition support only, internal university awards, foundations, an employer benefit or GKS. A rule for alternative benefit tiers is not treated as a stacking restriction. Check the exact conflict before accepting two awards.

Include a TOPIK report if previously taken. Documents must be Korean or English, or accompanied by notarized translations. Shortlisted applicants interview individually; the announced interview period was April 21–30. The notice does not announce a 2027 application window.
One 2026 training session, September 1–December 18, at AKS. Submit a final report at least 15 days before the session ends. Concurrent financial support from another institution cannot be received. A later session requires its own published call; no automatic renewal is stated.
Can I receive two scholarships at the same time in Korea?
It depends on both awards. Some prohibit any other scholarship, while others only restrict tuition support, internal awards, foundations, employer benefits or GKS.
Does a smaller benefit avoid the restriction?
Do not assume so. Read the exact rule and ask both administrators before accepting overlapping funding.
