Scholarships in Korea Requiring Financial-Need Documents

These programmes do more than mention financial need: their reviewed eligibility or application text explicitly calls for income evidence, financial documents or documentary proof. Scholarship evidence is separate from a bank statement or proof of funds required for admission or a visa. Missing document fields are not treated as permission to apply without evidence.

Later semesters and re-application

Reapply each semester with income evidence. Earn at least 15 credits in the previous semester; GPA 3.2 gives 40%, 3.4 gives 50%, 3.6 gives 60%, and 3.8 gives 70% tuition support. Selection and income rules apply each time; this is not automatic continuation. The cohort restriction remains in force.

Common questions

Are these the same documents used for a student visa?

No. This page concerns scholarship-specific evidence. Admission and immigration authorities can request separate financial-capacity documents.

Do all documents need translation or notarisation?

Not universally. Follow the exact programme rule; the reviewed university record shown here specifies a Korean translation notarised in Korea, while other programmes can use different evidence.
